Rabbi Moses Maimonides  (The “Rambam”) lived from 1135-1204 in Spain, Morocco, and Egypt. He worked as a Rabbi, a physician, and a philosopher. He is most known for his Guide for the Perplexed and his halakhic code, the Mishneh Torah. Included in the Mishneh Torah is a section known as “Hilkhot De’ot,” or Laws of Human Dispositions. In this class, we will study this text and its lasting wisdom for growing our own spirits and strengths today.
