A once-monthly program designed for parents and their tots! The Religious School at Beth Shalom Congregation offers a first step on a child’s life-long journey of Jewish Education. Children are immersed in Jewish values, traditions and celebrations through stories, songs and the arts! Beth Shalom offers two classes: for two-year-olds and three and four-year-olds.
Shorashim is Beth Shalom’s family group geared towards families with young children ages 5 and under. The group meets every other month, usually on a Friday evening. They get together either at someone’s house or at Beth Shalom. Each month focuses on a different Jewish theme, holiday, or Bible story. Activities for the children include Jewish songs, stories, and crafts. Check us out on Facebook at Beth Shalom Parents of Young Kids.
