I Don’t Remember THAT from Hebrew School!

March 28, 2023 @ 7:45 pm - 9:00 pm

Date:              Tuesdays, March 14, 21 and 28
Time:             7:45 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Instructor:    Rabbi Jennifer Greenspan
Fee:                $15 members; $30 non-members

Did Esther really enter a beauty pageant? Does a tattoo really affect where a Jew can be buried after they pass? Sometimes, Hebrew School didn’t really give us the whole picture. Perhaps our teachers didn’t think we were ready for it, or perhaps they missed a detail along the way–but now we’re grown, and it’s time to learn things a little more deeply. Join Rabbi Greenspan in exploring some of the things we thought we knew, and seeing if we can expand the picture!

Rabbi Jennifer Greenspan is the Senior Rabbi of Beth Shalom Congregation. She received her Master of Arts in Rabbinic Studies and Rabbinic Ordination in 2019 from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at the American Jewish University and received the Henry Fisher Award for Outstanding Achievement in Jewish Studies. From 2019-2022, she served as Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck in Indianapolis, Indiana
