Every service of our tradition is composed to take us on a particular emotional journey. During the High Holy Days, the Machzor invites us into a journey of deep reflection that asks us to confront our own mortality and the opportunity to shift the paths of our lives.
Join Rabbi Greenspan as we spend time delving into the history, the complexity, and the poetry of some of these prayers.
We will look at the Unetaneh Tokef, Kol Nidre, and more. May the time spent in this class help to deepen your experience of some of the most difficult liturgy of the year. If you would like to purchase a personal copy of Machzor Lev Shalem, please be in touch with the office.
