Daytime Minyan
Sunday through Friday at 12:00 p.m, study a Psalm a day with Women’s League of Conservative Judaism (WLCJ) followed by Mourner’s Kaddish. Connect to the daytime minyan here. Enter password 875936.
For Mourners
Mourner’s Kaddish is one of three honored ways of showing respect for loved ones. The other two are giving charity and studying a Jewish text in memory of your loved one. A special Alternative Mourner’s Prayer can be recited after giving charity or studying a psalm or traditional text when unable to recite Mourner’s Kaddish in a minyan. Get the Alternative Minyan Prayer here.
Bereavement Support
Beth Shalom is a caring community that supports our congregants who have lost a loved one. Our Bereavement Committee reaches out to congregants to provide support and to offer a meal to the immediate family during shiva. While the family is sitting shiva, we provide minyan leaders and prayer books at the family’s home, as needed. Daily minyanim are held throughout the year to help those saying kaddish after the shiva period is over.
