Sunday, March 8, 2026 • 19 Adar 5786
9:00 AM - 10:30 AMJoin us for a discussion of Hostage by Eli Sharabi- the first memoir written by a released Israeli hostage and now the fastest-selling book in Israel’s history. Sharabi offers a powerful firsthand account of survival under unthinkable conditions, describing starvation, isolation, and psychological abuse at the hands of his captors following the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Be’eri.
The conversation will be facilitated by Moshe Ben-Lev, Director of Education & Youth at Beth Shalom, who will share perspectives informed by his own experience living and serving in Israel.
Participants are encouraged to read the book beforehand (available on Amazon, approximately $20), but all are welcome to attend.
