Always wanted to learn to read Torah? Come join to learn the ins and outs of Torah trope. All levels musical ability welcome but students must be able to read Hebrew. 

Cantor Apt will also be offering one-on-one coaching sessions for experienced Torah readers to learn High Holiday Trope in preparation for the 5785 High Holidays. Please contact cantor.apt@beth-shalom.net if interested! 

Cantor Rebecca Apt received degrees in Music and Midrash, respectively, from Columbia University and Albert A. List College. She received a Master’s degree in Sacred Music from the H.L. Miller Cantorial School and was invested as a Hazzan in 2013.  Prior to joining Beth Shalom Congregation as Cantor, she served as Hazzan of Shaare Tefilah Congregation in Olney, MD
