Services
Beth Shalom is an egalitarian Conservative synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
Beth Shalom uses the new version of Sidur Sim Shalom as its prayer book.
Daily Minyanim
During the summer, Beth Shalom holds daily minyan at 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday and Sunday morning at 9:00 am. On Labor Day, September 6, 2010 daily minyan will return to 7:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
Shabbat Services
During the year, Shabbat Services are held every Friday evening at 8:00 pm. During the Summer, Friday evening Shabbat Service is scheduled at the home of congregants. Please call the synagogue office (410-531-5115) for additional details on this schedule.
Shabbat Service is held every Saturday morning at 9:30 am. The Torah is read every Saturday morning following the triennial cycle of the Conservative Movement.
Religious Holidays
Virtually all Jewish Holidays are observed at Beth Shalom with appropriate religious services.
Family and Children's Services
Students can enjoy the song and spirit of Junior Congregation every Saturday morning at 10:30 am during the school year.
Families with young children can enjoy monthly Tot Shabbat (birth - 5) usually on the second Friday evening of the month, as well as special Holiday Family Services. Check our on-line Scroll or Calendar for this month's schedule.
